The settings menu of your smart light ELA app is a quick go-to source for additional features and information you may not find elsewhere in the app. Most of the key features of your ELA lights will be accessible from the control center home screen. However, if you’re stuck looking to find how to do something; go to the settings menu!
The “Settings” menu is accessible from the smart ELA app by selecting the “Settings” option at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen from the control center.
At the top, your connection will be indicated if your App is either connected or disconnected from the network.
Wi-Fi settings allow you to control your connection.You can also access your network configuration here which will allow you to select your home or office WiFi network to link to.
Room management is a short-cut to the room management screen accessible from the control center. From here you can access each individual room and see which devices are attached. You can create rooms, rename rooms, or move devices between rooms.
Device management provides you with a list of current devices (lights) and their status. Green lights indicate that your lights are connected. Swipe devices left to delete. Tap the 3 dots, seen in the top right corner, in order to rename devices. Tip: name lights based on their location in the room. Example: “Table Lamp | Right Corner”
Cloud Control allows you to control your LED smart ELA Lights from anywhere in the world as long as you are connected to the internet. For more information on using Cloud Control, visit the Cloud Control guide here.
Cloud Backup is a feature which allows you to backup your ELA network’s current state and settings to the cloud. You can log in and recover your settings at any time. This is useful if you upgrade your device or experience a technical error which may have resulted in losing your information from the app.
Upgrade Device shows you your current connected devices and a record of your upgrade history.
Default Lights Setting allows you to browse your current rooms and create default settings for your lighting plan.
Safety Code Setting allows you to create and change your safety code to secure your account and devices. If you forget your code, you can also reset it from this screen. For more information on your Safety Code settings, visit the Safety Code Setting guide.
The “Help” section transfers you to a knowledge base with information on your devices and App features as well as answers to frequently asked questions, articles, and more. Additional guides can be found by visiting the User Guides & Tutorials Section of the ELA website here.
The settings section of your ELA app holds a host of information and settings for you to explore. While much of what you want to do is accessible from the control center of the app, the settings page should be your go-to area for additional help or features.
